Mountain Box is another name for Common Bearberry, one of three species of Bearberry in the genus Arctostaphylos. The binomial name for Common Bearberry is Arctostaphylos uva ursi. Also known as Arberry, Bear Grape, Mealberry, Mountain Cranberry, Mountain Tobacco, Sandberry, and Upland Cranberry.
